Lots of hand sewing of applique ribbon star and gold metallic embroidery of the ringstone symbol. Ribbon has lots of gold metallic in it. The back is lined with black cotton material and is signed by the artist and dated by year in gold embroidery. 

You will need to supply a rod of your choice a wooden dowel or metallic curtain rod. The piece is not washable as it has a strip of artist's mat board in the bottom to weight it. You would have to remove it and hand wash in cold water if need be.
